Drugs and Loneliness

Today was a peaceful day. 

I carried out housewife duties and babysitting duties, I played pokémon (I'm at Goldenrod city), I played with pokémon cards, and I played some music. 

The chores were menial, cleaning bathroom, washing clothes etc. I SWEAR that our drier is broken. After 2 hours on the hottest setting the towels were still more than damp, i had to put them through again. It makes me angry. I shouldn't have to waste this much energy drying towels only for them to be used and lose their dryness. This weather is getting to me for that reason. 

Babysitting was.. eugh. Tough to say the least. It is infinitely hard to convince an 11 year old that he should take a break from screens when it's all you want to do yourself. It got tense. Violence ensued. We reverted back to screens. 

Earlier this evening I had planned to see a band at the Gaelic Club in sydney. Which would have been fine, if i could have found someone to come with me. I'm not the best at organizing these things SO I ended up alone. I arrived at 8 or so, and the band i planned to see wasn't on till 11. It sucked. I was embarrassed. So I gave up on the band and decided to go to Hungry Jacks to fill my belly. but not before being severely ripped off by a vodka and redbull. Worst ten bucks I ever spent. 

Feeling kind of stupid and ridiculous eating my double cheeseburger alone, something very interesting happened that instantly brightened my evening. A drug bust. Right in front of my eyes at central. Now from what I saw, a woman was noticed by a dog then followed through the gates and searched. They took from her oversized handbag what appeared to be a plastic bag full of white power, about the size of a soccer ball. They made her take off her puffy jacket and searched the lining. It was pretty interesting. so interesting, in fact, that I forgot I was holding a burger over my lap, and dripped sauce all over my pants. I was pissed again. 

So I jumped on the next train and met dad at Glenfield to pick up my bro from his school social. We sang bohemian rhapsody on the way home. It made me feel better. 

ALSO I yam sick. It's my brothers fault. 

speaking of my brother, I yam rather proud of him, as his soccer team has been chosen to play an exhibition game for the world cup at Darling Harbor next weekend. He's gonna be on TV! So yeah, pretty exciting. 

Thats all to report tonight. Tomorrow I shall be spending the day with some WONDERFUL people. I look forward to it very much. I will tell you about it tomorrow night if anything worthwhile happens. n__n
